1. Make the call easy to find
Choose one Discord text channel for group calls and show drivers where it is during briefing. Keep each call focused on who should join and what they should do next.
Use the relevant group role rather than mentioning everyone. Drivers waiting for a later group should be able to tell that the current message is not their call.
2. Call the group when the server is ready
A message sent before the correct session is active can send drivers to the wrong place. Make the server change and the group call part of the same staff workflow.
Keep role membership current. Even a correctly timed message reaches the wrong people if the group role still belongs to last round’s drivers.
3. Let the active group trigger the message
Discord Group Announcer detects a change to a configured qualifying or battle group on a compatible server. It posts a role-tagged call and driver list in your chosen text channel.
It suppresses repeated calls while the group remains unchanged. Staff still control which preset becomes active and check any uncertain delivery before repeating a call.
Role Sync can maintain competition roles from Live Judging. Discord Voice Control can move a selected group between voice channels and play a recorded reminder.

Common questions
Is this the same as In-Game Announcer?
No. Discord Group Announcer posts group calls in Discord text chat. In-Game Announcer calls individual drivers and shares scores or battle results in the game server chat.
Does it need the registration or Role Sync module?
No. It can use existing Discord roles and a compatible server-status feed. Role Sync is optional if you want group membership maintained from Live Judging.
