How to prepare servers for an Assetto Corsa drift event

The short answer

Prepare the stages of your event before drivers arrive. Building server presets from your entry list reduces repeated edits as you move from practice to qualifying and battles.

1. Plan the stages your event needs

Decide which sessions you need for practice, qualifying groups and battles. Tell drivers where to join and when their group should be ready.

Test joining with a driver and a staff member before the event. A prepared session is only useful if the right people can get into it.

2. Keep server preparation tied to your entries

Copying driver lists into several server presets creates repeated work. A late correction can leave one list updated and another out of date, especially when staff are preparing the next stage during live competition.

Use the agreed entry list as the starting point. Before each stage, check that the intended drivers and staff places are included.

3. Build presets without repeating the edits

Server Preset Manager uses your live Sheet to prepare practice, qualifying and battle presets. It reads qualifying groups and the current bracket so your operator does not have to rebuild those lists by hand.

You preview changes before deploying them to your host. When you redeploy, the tool updates the same preset instead of making another copy to keep track of.

Live Judging provides the competition data. The current locked-entry workflow also uses Applications & Event Registration for driver Steam IDs and staff access. Your operator chooses when to prepare and deploy each stage.

Common questions

Does Event Toolkit host the game server?

No. You need compatible server hosting. Live Judging provides groups and bracket data; Applications & Event Registration provides the records used for locked driver and staff access. We confirm host compatibility before purchase.

Will it move the event to the next stage automatically?

Your operator stays in control of when to prepare and deploy presets. The module automates preset preparation from the entry list, rather than deciding when a stage should start.
